Does cold weather call for a cold drink? USA Today has rounded up some of the best beer halls in the country just in time to get into the chilly season.
“Trade winter blues for winter brews at these breweries, brewpubs and beer bars pairing local and Bavarian beers with hearty fare fit for the season,” writes USA Today Eats.
The Pacific Northwest has long been known for its selection of breweries. Try some local beers at Seattle’s Queen Anne Beerhall.
“Seattle's Queen Anne Beerhall brings people together at community tables over German, Belgian and Pacific Northwest beers and food,” says USA Today Eats.
Minneapolis is home to Surly Brewing Co.

“Pair your beer with a shareable cheese or charcuterie plate,” suggests USA Today Eats.
Choose from craft beer or whiskey and cocktails at Ale Mary’s Craft Beer Hall in Royal Oak, Mich., near Detroit and follow it up with some delicious grub.
“Soak up those suds with a beer cheeseburger, soup, salad, sandwich, tacos or dessert,” says USA Today.
