Norwegian Cruise Line executives are planning two sales for the week of Thanksgiving. The “Norwegians Rule Black Friday” sale opens Nov. 23 and continues on Nov. 24, while the “Norwegians Don’t Wait for Santa” will be open from Nov. 26 to 29. It offers a reduced deposit of 50 percent and up to $250-per-stateroom shipboard credit. Free customizable tools are available at www.partners.ncl.com.
During a webinar with Norwegian executives and travel agents, the company also launched a new video library that includes Breakaway videos. All video content is available in high- and low-res than can be shown on travel agent websites or emails.
The company also announced recent additions to NCLU, the online training center. An elective course on New York departures was launched on Nov. 1, and 652 agents have completed it so far. Other recently launched courses focus on how to market Norwegian, Norwegian Breakaway accommodations, how to use the line’s marketing headquarters and The Haven suite complex.
The company also will host a Partners First Weekend in Miami, Jan. 6 to 8, at the InterContinental Hotel. The price is $259 per person, double occupancy. The weekend will include a welcome reception where agents can meet the Miami executive team, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, shipboard luncheons and tours aboard Norwegian Epic and Norwegian Pearl, Saturday dinner on South Beach and a variety of training.
