The Most Beautiful Places in Paris

Paris is pretty spectacular, but Conde Nast Traveler boils down the city into 25 of its most stunning spaces.
“When you finally visit the city for yourself, and see the cobblestoned streets of Saint-Germain and backlit silhouette of Notre Dame, its charm transcends cliche,” writes Caitlin Morton.
All it takes is one stroll through the city and you can see that it is unlike anywhere else in the world. However, some places emanate beauty in a more powerful sense.
For example, Pont Alexandre III, which makes Conde Nast Traveler’s list of the most beautiful places in Paris. The bridge spans the Seine River at the Champs-Elysee and is one of the most ornate bridges in the city.
Morton also suggests a visit to Luxembourg Garden in the spring. The gardens were created in 1612 by Marie de' Medici, the widow of King Henry IV of France.

Fontaines de la Concorde is another very beautiful location in the city. Located in Place de la Concorde, they are found in the heart of the city.
Notre Dame is another of the city’s most stunning features. It is considered to be one of the best examples of French Gothic architectures in existence and is praised for its naturalism and its stained glass that symbolized a new era in the construction of cathedrals. The church was one of the first to utilized the concept of flying buttresses as support for the interior architecture rather than extending the thickness of the walls to gain support.
These are but a few of Paris’ most beautiful places. Read on here for more.
