Destination & Tourism Donald Wood January 10, 2017

For travelers looking to figure out which destination to explore during 2017, look no further than the United States Virgin Islands and the $300 voucher the tourism department is offering to entice potential visitors.
According to FoxNews.com, visitors to the U.S. Virgin Islands will be eligible to receive a $300 voucher meant for use on historical and cultural tours and other activities in 2017.
The U.S. Virgin Islands—comprised of St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix—are celebrating the 100th anniversary of "Transfer Day." The festivities commemorate the date in which Denmark sold the islands to the United States for $25 million.
To take advantage of the amazing offer, travelers must book their vacation before Oct. 1 for travel during the 2017 calendar year.
Guests will be required to stay at least three nights at one of the participating hotels to get the $300 voucher, which can be earned by booking a trip through the official tourism website of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
For more information on the $300 travel voucher and other promotions being offered by the U.S. Virgin Islands tourism board, check out the official website of the islands.
