5 Things We Learned from NKOTB’s Party Plane
Entertainment Barry Kaufman July 10, 2014

The New Kids on the Block, the boy band (approaching-middle-age-man band?) that soccer moms everywhere are still inexplicably drawn to, recently hatched a sweepstakes with Southwest Airlines for an NKOTB party plane.
Fans who entered online joined the boys from Boston for a trip aboard a Southwest flight from Chicago to Las Vegas for opening night of the band’s “After Dark” show at The AXIS powered by Monster at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
And while we couldn’t be on this particular flight (curse you, slow Wi-Fi for limiting our entries!) we were able to utilize the hashtag #nkotbpartyplane to follow all the fun. So join us as we count down all the things we learned about Danny, Donnie, Joey, Jordan and Jonathan from following their hashtag.
Jordan Loves Him Some Chanting
While a few photos popped up of the festivities, there were suspiciously few videos (giving credence to the slogan “what happens on a plane full of contest winners and a former boy band stays on a plane full of contest winners and a former boy band”). And the videos we did see all featured the same thing: Jordan Knight really, really trying to make this chant happen:
That’s not one incident filmed from different angles: he actually moved across the plane to see if his chant might play better on the port side.
Donnie is The Loud One
We’re not going to lie, we’re just a little bit delighted by Donnie’s nonsensical “pre-fright” plane inspection. It’s why he’s always earned a place in our hearts as one of the top three Wahlbergs.
Joey Really Loves His Hat
Joey McIntyre took one photo on the entire flight. It was of his hat (also there was a plane back there somewhere).
Jonathan Got A New Speedo

Let’s… let’s just forget we ever saw that.
We’re Not Sure Danny Was On This Flight
Seriously. This is the only picture of him.
