Aaron Carter didn't attend his brother Nick Carter's wedding in Santa Barbara, California on Saturday (April 12), but he has a good reason.
Apparently, Aaron never planned on going to the ceremony, because he had a contractual obligation to appear in the Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington, D.C., but he was racing to California to at least attend the reception, Aaron's rep, Steve Honig, told Rumor Fix.
Nick's wedding date was also picked after Aaron signed his contract, so it wasn't a personal choice to miss the wedding (in case you're speculating).
“Aaron changed planes several times to get into Santa Barbara. He was breaking his a** to get to Nick’s wedding,” Honig says.
Sadly, mechanical problems grounded his plane, so US Airways put Aaron up in a hotel in Pittsburgh.
Aaron, who was with Drake Bell at the airport, tweeted: “Really?? @USAirways @drakebell bro are we both sitting here?? Like really I DIDNT want to miss my bros wedding!! F**K!”
Later, Aaron wrote: "Really pissed off that I missed my brothers wedding today.. i hope he doesn't hate me .. I tried to get there... I'm sorry bro @nickcarter #technicalProblems."
We've all had our fair share of travel delays, but missing a sibling's wedding seems like a steep price to pay. We're bummed that Aaron missed Nick's wedding. Hopefully, Nick won't hold it against him.
