Banksy is offering aid to a great cause, utilizing components of his otherwise depressing and melancholy pop-up amusement park Dismaland.
We previously reported on the famed street artist and his alternate universe Disneyland that sat comfortably in Weston-super-Mare until September 27.
We imagine that the end of its glorious run would have meant sending the wood and installations into a pile of scrap.
Instead, the installations are headed to France to aid the influx of refugees heading into the area.
The news comes by way of Dismaland's website, which states the following: "Coming soon… Dismaland Calais. All the timber and fixtures from Dismaland are being sent to the 'jungle' refugee camp near Calais to build shelters. No online tickets will be available."

The peculiar park that embraced the wonders of a depressing time out with the family was quite successful.
The Associated Press states: "Tourism body Visit Somerset says the exhibition brought 20 million pounds ($30 million) to the faded seaside town of Weston-Super-Mare. Officials say it drew more than 150,000 people."
And so a bunch of attractions dedicated to gloom will be offered up in what is a most wonderful gesture.
