Chicago May Soon Get Epic Caddyshack Restaurant and Bar
Entertainment Gabe Zaldivar January 04, 2017

Chicago, already boasting an embarrassment of riches in the tourist-draw department, may soon get another must-see location in the form of a Caddyshack-themed bar and restaurant.
If if it makes its way into fruition, it will be because of the Murray brothers—that famed family headlined by none other than Bill Murray.
The Daily Herald (h/t Eater Chicago) reports Murray and brothers have eyes on opening a second national location, adding to the one they have in St. Augustine, Florida.
As visitors to that location know, the hot spot is known as Murray Bros. Caddyshack. As the name suggests, the entire spot is modeled in honor of that beloved movie starring Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield and that one guy who played Danny Noonan.
If successful, Chicago’s very own Caddyshack watering hole would be situated at Rosemont’s Crowne Plaza Hotel.

While we can’t promise that Murray will be ripping up the stage every night, we can say that this future spot has a wealth of awesome Caddyshack references going for it, which is nice.
Now for the bad news. As noted, there is no date as of yet as to when a new Caddyshack spot might open as blueprints would need to be submitted before the next step could take place.
For the moment, a Chicago hat tip to a beloved movie is all but hypothetical. This means any local gophers can rest easy for the time being.
