Iron Panda, no relation to Iron Man or Kung-Fu Panda, is a giant statue taking up considerable real estate in Shenyang, China.
Kotaku spotted the behemoth bear that is causing quite the Internet stir at the moment. And with an adorable face, yin and yang symbols, and a complement of faux iron, we can see why.
Website Supertouch chronicled the large statue back in 2014 when it took up space at the K11 art mall in Hong Kong.
The website states the piece was created by Beijing artist Bi Heng, but YouTube channel Wochit explains a bit further what is behind such a masterpiece: "Heng claims that the Panda symbolizes the balance with nature that mankind must maintain while advancing technology."
Twitter, as it does so often, offered a treasure trove of images:
We couldn't track down exactly what mall this statue currently resides in Shenyang, so we welcome any details you Internet denizens might offer.
Now we sit and wait patiently for Hollywood to give us some iteration of an Iron Panda that tours the world, saving lives and delivering harmony to all who come in its way.
