Chris Brown learned a hard lesson this week — flight delays are no fun.
The "Loyal" singer was taken from his L.A. County jail cell Thursday (April 3) by U.S. Marshals for a cross-country trip to Washington D.C. But according to TMZ, he's still not there due to travel delays.
Chris allegedly made several stops along the way. And typically, when a prisoner lands, he is taken to a nearby jail to wait for the next available flight.
Chris' lawyer, Mark Geragos, will reportedly be in a D.C. courtroom Monday (April 7) trying to get his client's case dismissed on grounds of grand jury misconduct. It's unclear if Chris will make it to the hearing.
Chris will stand trial April 17 for allegedly assaulting a man outside his D.C. hotel.
And for the sake of comparison, a typical commercial flight from L.A. to D.C. takes four hours and forty minutes.
