Disney Will Soon Give The World An Animatronic Donald Trump

The current American political landscape is not—despite your best wishes—some exotic and weird dream from which you will awake. It only seems that way.
The latest chapter in the ongoing saga that will be the Donald Trump presidency is the Donald Trump legacy becoming an ingrained part of our pop culture. Most recently, we remembered that this also means Trump will most assuredly be a part of Disney’s Hall of Presidents.
The Huffington Post has a nice little reminder that Trump’s presidency means a great deal to millions of people. But some of those things are respective travel trivialities that you probably forgot.
The most Disney among these is that the beloved Hall of Presidents exhibit at Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square is about to undergo a brief renovation.
To be fair, Inside the Magic was on this story the moment Trump was named the president-elect back in November.

As noted above, the famed attraction was shuttered on Tuesday and will remain closed until the end of June.
It will take this amount of time to not only prepare and produce an animatronic Trump but to also change the show to reflect the addition of the 45th President of the United States.
We simply won’t know who much Disney will choose to infuse the show with faux Trump until this summer, which is when we will all get used to the idea of the new commander-in-chief and life will again seem completely, totally and absolutely normal.
