Welcome to extreme traveling, which mandates you take a leap from perfectly good local landmarks.
NBC News’ David Arnott reports several travelers are taking a remarkable plunge, planning to see the world from truly rare vantages.
Arnott explains, “This is rope jumping — part diving, part rock climbing, with a touch of engineering thrown in. A band of European adventurers are aiming to go ‘around the world in 80 jumps’ and get a unique view of the most ravishing nature and architecture the globe has to offer.”
The group is as eclectic as the destinations they have planned, reportedly comprising of, “an accountant, a bank manager and a physics student.”
The following video shows the group truly enjoying all that Greece’s Navagio beach has to offer:
Looks fun, but we will continue to enjoy beaches the ol’ fashioned way: with a beer, beach chair and our feet firmly resting on the ground.
Here is another video, featuring some leaps of faith at France’s Verdon Gorge:
Arnott has an idea of what fans should expect soon, reporting the self-proclaimed Dream Walkers have aims to conquer a cave in Croatia, as well as, “a French viaduct, skyscrapers in Las Vegas and Johannesburg, and the Grand Canyon.”
These Walkers certainly have us captivated, illustrating some truly jaw-dropping antics amid gorgeous landscapes.
Traveling the world is certainly a worthwhile endeavor. However, jumping from various points surrounding the globe makes it must-see entertainment.
