Father’s Day Coming to Walt Disney World
Entertainment Donald Wood May 29, 2018

Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando during Father’s Day is a wonderful gift for any dad, and the theme park is looking to make the celebration even more memorable this year.
For the thrill-seeking fathers in the group, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will offer guests the chance to experience the Avatar Flight of Passage attraction in the Pandora – The World of Avatar section of the park, as well as the Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain ride.
At Epcot, dads will be able to hop in a vehicle and experience Test Track Presented by Chevrolet or fly over the surroundings as part of the Soarin’ Around the World attraction. Hollywood Studios will also offer families the chance to witness the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular or take a ride on the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith.
Fathers who love sports will also be treated to an incredible time thanks to the ESPN Club at Disney’s Boardwalk, which offers nearly 100 video monitors that display virtually any televised game while enjoying a pub-style menu. In addition, golfers 18 years-old and under play for free with their dads at all Disney World Golf courses.
Disney Springs will offer families and their fathers ample summer night options, including tours of Lake Buena Vista from The Boathouse, live entertainment appearing nightly at the park, discounts at the Tommy Bahama retail location and a clean shave at The Art of Shaving.
When dad gets hungry, Disney Springs offers 50 food and beverage locations, including the on-the-water Paddlefish restaurant, Discover Bourbon and Amorette’s Patisserie, which will serve special treats honoring beloved Disney dads.
