He Literally Rode This Disney Ride 10k Times

You can never have too much of a good thing.
Don’t believe me? Just ask California resident John Hale, who rode the Radiator Springs Racers attraction at Disney California Adventure for an astounding 10,000th time last week.
According to KABC-TV, Hale has been working to reach 10,000 rides on Disney Pixar's Cars themed attraction for over half a decade. In total, it took him five years, five months and three days to accomplish the feat.
The journey to 10,000 rides started following Hale’s gastric bypass surgery and two knee replacements. He was looking for a ride that would be enjoyable without leaving him in pain and fell in love with the Radiator Springs Racers.
Hale has visited Disney California Adventure over 760 times and averaged 13 rides on the attraction per visit. He credits his hunt for 10,000 rides with helping him remain healthy and now hopes his accomplishment will inspire others in a similar situation.

“You should never give up. If you have a goal, never give up, keep after it,” Hale told KABC-TV. “There may be days when you think you won't get it, but as long as you keep chugging away, you're going to get it.”
After reaching the 10,000-ride milestone, what’s next? For Hale, he has already turned his attention to his next major goal: Reaching 15,000 rides on the Radiator Springs Racers.
Dream big, kid. Dream big.
