All other selfies have now been rendered obsolete.
Mashable’s Brian Koerber spotted what might very well be the zenith in personal photography; featuring three people we presume are certifiably insane.
Here is a brief but entirely awe-inspiring video posted to YouTube by Frank Wu:
As Wu states in the comments section, video credit goes to Daniel Lau, whom you can follow on Instagram, an account of which also features the above video segment.
If you need a shove, here are a few more images from Lau’s account that are sure to garner shivers from even the most adventurous of souls:
Koerber explains just how high the trio was at the time: “Photographers Daniel Lau, Andrew Tso and an unnamed friend took an incredibly dangerous, yet casual selfie atop the Centre in Hong Kong, a skyscraper that tops out at 1,135 feet.”
This is a good news/bad news situation in that we now have a breathtaking view of the Hong Kong landscape without the need to leave our seats. The bad news, however, is that we can no longer take a selfie without our head held high in triumph.
Indeed every single selfie taken throughout history will struggle to match even a modicum of this one’s majesty, so we suggest you all stop trying.
