Jennifer Lopez Will Perform In The Dominican Republic For The First Time Ever

Jennifer Lopez is making history.

The famed singer, actress and dancer is doing something she has never done. That’s quite the accomplishment when you consider she lays claim to also being an author, producer, designer and television host.

Yet, she will add yet another achievement as she will perform in the Dominican Republic for the first time in her career, and she is deciding to do so in one remarkable venue.

The 47-year-old singer will belt out the hits under the stars at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas’ Altos de Chavón Amphitheater on Saturday, April 15.

Andres Pichardo Rosenberg, president of Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, is understandably excited about the upcoming event: “For us, it is a great honor to receive, for the first time in the Dominican Republic, one of the world's biggest stars.”

As noted in a press release, Lopez will perform in the Dominican Republic as she continues to craft what will be her first all Spanish album in a decade, a project she is collaborating on with Marc Anthony who serves as the album’s Executive Producer

Rosenberg continues: “This event further confirms our vision and commitment to offering the best concerts at the country's most magical location, the Amphitheater at Altos de Chavón. While Lopez will have to get her bearings in the Dominican Republic, Altos de Chavón is no stranger to amazing events.
