Madonna was spotted walking on her own through JFK Airport on Tuesday, Jan. 21. In the days leading up to Winter Storm Janus, the 55-year-old pop star was seen hobbling around New York City on crutches after suffering a minor foot injury.
Madonna allegedly bruised a bone in her foot after practicing some dance moves in high heels. She even Instagrammed a photo of herself working out while on crutches! That's sheer dedication in our eyes. We can only hope to have as much perserverence as the pop star does when we turn 55. Clearly, Madonna is unstoppable.
Anyway, it's a good thing that Madonna is back on her own two feet, minus the crutches, because one had to be fast in order to outrun Winter Storm Janus. The ghastly weather wreacked havoc across the northeast and Madonna looked ready to escape the Big Apple, an area which accumulated at least ten inches of snow on Tuesday.
Hopefully Madonna's flight wasn't delayed or cancelled like many others experienced.
Covered head to toe under layers of clothing -- a black puffer coat with a fur-lined hood over black cropped pants and a hoodie with black stockings and black combat-style boots -- Madonna not only disguised herself, but provided herself a nice sheild against the single digit temperatures!
Her outfit also consisted of a fur stocking cap with long, braided tassels, a black, gray and white scarf tied around her neck and pulled up over her mouth and nose, where they met her large sunglasses, and sheer, black fingerless gloves.
Don't mess with Madge! She's always ready for anything that comes her way.
How did you handle Winter Storm Janus? Did your flight get cancelled or delayed? Tell us how you fought or escaped the cold!
