2017 Travvy Awards: Pictures from the Star-Studded Travel Extravaganza

It’s a night unlike any other.
Travel is, by nature, a wonderful and experiential process. So, it is no surprise that a night that celebrates the best in the travel industry is both filled with incredible grandeur as well as packed with some of the best people in the entire world.
With neither the stodgy nature of a business conference or the faux self-importance of Hollywood, the travel realm is a fantastic group of individuals who deserve accolade and sincerely enjoy one another’s company.

At the 2017 Travvy Awards, held Jan. 25 at New York City's Gotham Hall, over 150 brands were honored, and some of the biggest winners of the night were The Travel Corporation, Carnival Corp., Royal Caribbean Cruises International, AMResorts, The Globus family of brands, Trafalgar, AmaWaterways, Sandals Resorts and Enterprise Rent-a-Car.
Travel isn’t just about brands and destinations, however. It is also about the people who make those brands and destinations worthwhile, and the Travvys also celebrate the fantastic people who attended the event and made it possible.
The night was made even more special with some fantastic Broadway-style entertainment. Amy Hillner Larsen (Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Hairspray), Sydney Harcourt (Hamilton), Alysha Umphress (On the Town) and Jay Armstrong Johnson (On the Town) all contributed to the event, bringing the atmosphere from awe-filled to transcendent.
