4 Reasons to Visit Ireland's Guinness Storehouse
Features & Advice Patrick Clarke July 10, 2017

Ireland's Guinness Storehouse hosted more than 1.6 million visitors last year, adding to its impressive legacy as one of the world's most coveted tourist attractions.
However, Dublin's premier draw isn't resting on its laurels. The Guinness Storehouse welcomed a new addition this summer and is offering discounts of up to 30 percent for guests who book their visit in advance.
Those are just a couple of reasons why the Guinness Storehouse should be at the top of your summer travel wish list.
The All-New Brewing Floor
The storehouse's newly-opened brewing floor will take visitors behind the scenes to see all that goes into crafting Guinness' iconic stout.
Guests will have an opportunity to see and smell the roasted barley as well as learn about the brewing process from start to finish through television screens, wall graphics and other elements.
It's Open Later in the Summer
The Guinness Storehouse is typically open from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., with the last admission being at 5 p.m. However, it stays open an hour later during July and August.
Now through the end of August, the storehouse closes at 8 p.m., with the last admission at 6 p.m.

You'll Learn Something New
Tours are available year-round at the Storehouse, and visitors will have a chance to learn not only about the beer's rich history and how it's made but how to pour the perfect pint.
An experienced Guinness Ambassador will show you how it's done and reward you with a personalized certificate afterward. The Guinness Connoisseur Experience is also available for guests seeking the ultimate tasting session.

No trip to the Guinness Storehouse is complete without a stop at the Gravity Bar, where guests can sip on a stout while they take in panoramic views of Dublin. The storehouse's flagship restaurant, 1837 Bar & Brasserie, is also home to gorgeous views of the city skyline.
There is tons to see, do, eat and drink at the storehouse. Therefore, give yourself plenty of time to explore and be sure to bring your appetite and thirst along for the journey.
