It’s easy to hyperbolize certain events in our industry as “historic,” but there’s really no other way to describe what’s happening right now, as Fathom cruise line’s Adonia has docked in Havana.
This marks the first time in nearly 40 years that an American cruise ship has docked in Cuba, and the passengers on board have been kind enough to share in this momentous occasion through their Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
We’ve selected a few of them below to share with you. To follow along with this historic first trip, keep an eye on Fathom’s #TravelDeep hashtag.
We’ll start with TravelPulse Founder Mark Murphy, who was among the first to step off Adonia onto Cuban soil.
