Frosch, the billion-dollar travel agency based in New York and Houston, acquired Los Angeles-based Willett Travel, effective April 2014.
“Willett Travel has earned a tremendous reputation in the industry over the past 70 years,” said Bryan Leibman, president and CEO of Frosch. “Tama Taylor Holve and the whole Willett Team have garnered much respect and friendship from their travel partners and clients, and we are proud to stand with her legacy moving forward.”
Willett Travel was established in 1943. From 1987, since the current ownership has been in place, the company has grown from a staff of nine to 65, and from $2.5 million in sales to nearly $25 million.
“Like so many industries, change is constant in travel. To join a great company with superior technology, ‘economy of scale’ benefits to both clients and staff, is a welcome, necessary change,” said Tama Taylor Holve, owner of Willett Travel. “To become part of Frosch, owned by the respected Leibman family, and have these business tools and supportive Frosch team members is wonderful — that FROSCH embraces the same values of integrity, professionalism and caring that have been the foundation of Willett Travel is a gift.”
Frosch acquired Florida-based Adventure Travels of Pompano Beach, Fla., in early January.
