5 New Hotel Openings We're Most Excited for in 2016

Countless hotels and resorts will open their doors to guests in 2016. However some openings are poised to be celebrated more than others.
Here we'll narrow down the list and highlight five new accommodations we can't wait to visit.
Hotel Theodore
Where: Seattle, Washington
Scheduled Opening: Fall 2016
This fall, Pacific Northwest-based Provenance Hotels will open the 151-room Hotel Theodore in downtown Seattle.
Located inside the former Roosevelt Hotel, which dates back nearly nine decades, Hotel Theodore will aim to celebrate its unique locale with art and other design elements that pay tribute to Seattle's history and tradition.
"Seattle is booming, we believe in the city and are excited to reimagine this landmark building as a new hotel that is smart, refined and upscale but also unpretentious and practical," Provenance CEO Gordon Sondland said in a statement.
Named after former President Theodore Roosevelt, this urban boutique hotel will offer guests all sorts of amenities ranging from eco-friendly bath products to docking stations.
Conrad Chicago
Where: Chicago, Illinois
Scheduled Opening: September 2016
Luxury will be the name of the game at Conrad Chicago, which is slated to open to guests later this year.
The hotel will feature the only two-story atrium in the Windy City as well as stellar views of the Midwest metropolis. The Conrad Chicago will also house a trio of restaurants. Inside the nearly 300 guestrooms, guests will have access to 65-inch televisions and espresso machines, among other amenities.
The hotel's location along Chicago's Magnificent Mile is yet another draw, as guests won't have to go far to experience the city's top attractions.

Park Hyatt St. Kitts
Where: St. Kitts
Scheduled Opening: Late 2016
This five-star hotel will overlook the crystal clear waters of The Narrows in St. Kitts and boast suites equipped with private rooftop pools.
If that doesn't interest you, the hotel's Presidential Suite comes with a personal chef and butler service. In addition to the property's standout amenities, St. Kitts is a premier resort destination and offers a variety of activities, including snorkeling and diving.
Travelers considering a stay can feel confident knowing this Caribbean hotel has already won awards for construction and design.
Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown
Where: New York, New York
Scheduled Opening: Summer 2016
Opening in Manhattan's TriBeCa neighborhood this upcoming summer, the Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown will attract leisure and business travelers alike.
Boasting nearly 7,000 square feet of meeting space and a 2,943-square-foot ballroom, this hotel is an ideal place to host meetings and events. What's more, the hotel will house renowned chef Wolfgang Puck's first restaurant in the Big Apple.
A spa and 75-foot indoor pool only add to this luxury hotel's allure.

St. Regis Langkawi
Where: Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia
Scheduled Opening: April 2016
Set to open April 6, the St. Regis Langkawi isn't just another luxury resort in an ideal setting. In fact, it will be one of the first resort's in years to open in Malaysia's UNESCO geopark.
This all-suite resort includes a handful of water villas, a private beach and stunning views of a lagoon that connects to the Andaman Sea. Food and beverage offerings here will range from international cuisine to simple snacks, while cocktails will be available at the hotel's bar.
There's also an on-site spa where guests can schedule a variety of different treatments, making it the perfect place for a wellness retreat.
