With their footprint growing to include 900 hotels open and more than 550 pending locations, it's clear 2017 was a good year for the All Suites brands by Hilton.
The growth of the Embassy Suites, Homewood Suites and Home2 Suites brands has resulted in more than 75 new hotels in the second half of 2017, including locations in Hawaii and South Carolina.
Some of this year’s marquee openings include the Embassy Suites by Hilton Oahu Kapolei, Embassy Suites by Hilton Syracuse Destiny USA, Homewood Suites by Hilton Charleston Historic District, Home2 Suites by Hilton Birmingham Downtown and more.
“From new cityscapes to coastal landscapes, the growth of the All Suites brands by Hilton has been both tremendous and transformative,” All Suites brands senior vice president Dianna Vaughan said in a statement. “The proof is in the numbers, with the All Suites brands representing more than 17 percent of opened Hilton hotels and nearly one-fourth of the pending pipeline.”
As for what the All Suites brands have in store for next several years, the company signed more than 173 deals for pending properties last year, which would expand the brands into the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America, Asia and the Middle East.
The Embassy Suites brand is focused on a massive renovation program, which includes more than 70 percent of its properties upgraded to modern interiors less than six years old by the end of 2019.
In addition, the Homewood Suites brand opened its 450th property in 2017, and the Home2 Suites brand opened its 200th hotel last year and is expected to debut its 300th property by early 2019.
In total, the All Suites Brands are on pace to reach 1,000 opened hotels before the end of 2019.
