While Las Vegas may be best known for upholding the slogan, “What happens here, stays here,” local hospitality companies are doubling down on a more serious side of the tourism business, the meetings and conventions crowd.
In fact, Las Vegas, already home to the world’s largest Consumer Electronics Show, is rapidly becoming one of the most coveted places in the world to hold an international meeting.
Come 2022, the city will welcome one more high-rolling conference center, the 550,000 square-foot CAESARS FORUM, being developed by Caesar’s Entertainment.
"Consistent with our post restructuring plans, Caesars Forum is the first installment of our growth strategy for the benefit of Las Vegas and our employees which will also help meet the increasing demand for group business meetings of all sizes," said Mark Frissora, President and CEO of Caesars Entertainment.
Caesars is reportedly spending $375 million to bring the convention space to the Las Vegas Strip. The new center, which will be located east of the Strip, will house the two largest pillarless ballrooms in North America. It will incorporate more than 300,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, or roughly the equivalent of five football fields.
Caesars Entertainment first announced in December it would acquire 18.4 acres of land, which will house the new conference center, as part of a series of transactions with VICI Properties.

"With its mid-strip location and state-of-the-art design, the Caesars Forum will be the ideal location for anyone looking to host meetings and events in Las Vegas."

"Building the two largest ballrooms in the world demonstrates our continued commitment to the meetings industry," said Chief Sales Officer Michael Massari. "We are excited to provide our customers with a new experience and look forward to building relationships with future clients."
The project is expected to break ground later this year.
