Carlson Rezidor is unveiling pilot programs for Google’s complete portfolio of travel applications, including Google Business Photos, Google Hotel Finder, Google Wallet, Google Indoor Maps, and Google Mobile Click-to-Call. Now, travelers can search for and compare hotels, view the hotel virtually before booking and streamline the payment process.

Carlson, whose brands include Radisson Blu, Radisson, Country Inns & Suites By Carlson, Park Inn by Radisson, Hotel Missoni and Park Plaza, is test piloting the a Google Business Photos program in Chicago, Miami and the Washington, D.C. area.

Google Business Photos offers 360-degree virtual tours of guest rooms and public areas powered by Google Street View technology.

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group launched a Google Hotel Finder pilot with Google last year. The app enables guests to search Google for hotels in a particular area, filter results by preferences, sort results and book a stay from the results page.

The entire roster of Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson hotels are now using Google Hotel Finder. Last month a pilot group of 100 Radisson and Country Inns & Suites hotels in the U.S. and Canada joined the program. Carlson Rezidor said it plans to unveil Google Hotel Finder out across all Carlson Rezidor hotels next year.

Google Wallet is an application that safely stores a customer’s credit card information and then offers an expedited checkout process on mobile devices. The pilot with the app began on Dec. 18.

Google Indoor Maps features renderings from drawings and floor plans in map view.  The app is in the pilot testing stage at the Radisson Blu Mall of America.       

Google Mobile Click-to-Call enables prospective guests to be one click away from calling a reservations center when they search on their smartphones.
