For New Year's Eve Fun, Book A Last-Minute Hotel

Do you already know what you're doing for New Year's Eve?
If you don't, you're in good company, says a survey commissioned by Hilton. That study found that 58% of Americans do not have solid plans for New Year's Eve by the second week of December.
The study also found that New Year's Eve revelers who had plans firm before Christmas were twice as likely as non-planners to feel disappointment with their New Year's festivities the next day.
Hotels often figured heavily into ideas of a pleasant New Year's Eve. 40% of those surveyed think a hotel makes for a good New Year's Eve experience, while 61% said they'd rather book a hotel room for the night rather than driving home.
Many Hilton properties are offering packages across the brand at multiple properties for New Year's Eve. Popular packages include:
Celebrate in Style: Includes complimentary sparkling wine or cider on arrival, breakfast for two, health club access (at properties with health clubs) and early check-in or late check-out.
Leisure Escapes Package: Includes a $50 daily credit for dining or on-property purchases.
In addition to the brand-wide room packages, several Hilton properties will host New Year's Eve parties, which revelers can take the elevator home from instead of driving, including LondonHouse Chicago, Curio Collection by Hilton (check out our property review), The Statler Dallas, Curio Collection by Hilton, and Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort.
In Seattle, the Doubletree by Hilton Seattle Airport offers two packages: The Standard Package which includes overnight accommodations, entrance to the All That Glitters New Years Eve Ball, where there's an appetizer buffet, midnight champagne toast, and party favors, self-parking and 3 p.m. late check-out. The VIP package includes upgraded accommodations, prime club table for two at the ball, a bottle of sparkling wine and a fruit, cheese, and chocolate plate.
In addition to Hilton, several other hotels across North America are offering New Year's Eve Packages, including:
Omni Dallas Hotel: Includes room accommodations, champagne for two, $100 food and beverage credit, complimentary self-parking, and 2 p.m. late check-out.
Virgin Hotels Chicago: The New Year, New You package includes overnight accommodations, a bottle of champagne, a hangover kit, and 2 p.m. late checkout.
Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix: The New Year's Eve Celebration Package includes overnight accommodations with a minimum 2-night stay, two general admission tickets to the Aur Revoir 2018 Party at LUSTRE Bar, and New Year's Day breakfast with a choice of two breakfast cocktails.
The Watergate Hotel, Washington DC: The New Year's Eve package includes overnight accommodations, tickets to the annual NYE party, where guests will enjoy an open bar, buffet, and live DJ, 50% off best available room rates, plus additional discounts for booking two nights or more.
The Grand Hyatt Denver: The New Year's Eve package includes overnight accommodations plus the hotel's four parties in one with a premium open bar, dinner buffet, midnight champagne toast, party hats and favors, and a balloon drop. Multiple ballrooms include Oldies, Contemporary Dance, Silent Disco, and Karaoke.
