Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas will be participating in the Agent@Home Travel Summit in Atlantic City in September.
Atlantis will lead a presentation that focuses on the latest updates on the resort, pass along valuable insight on how travel agents can improve their sales to the destination, and educate agents on how they can become an Atlantis Ambassador.
Updates include new five renovation and redesign projects, including improvements to Marketplace Restaurant, Plato's Lounge and Atlantis Casino.
Atlantis will also cover the value of the Atlantis resort experience, different accommodation choices at the property, dining plan benefits and facilities and amenities offered.
Atlantis Ambassador is a new education, recognition and rewards program for travel professionals that is scheduled to launch this fall via the resort's partnership with travAlliancemedia's Travel Agent Academy. Agents who complete a training course will become certified Atlantis Ambassadors, which will allow them to earn points for bookings to Atlantis (regardless of channel used) and use them for awards for themselves or their clients.
Atlantis Paradise Island, which opened in 1998, is a vacation destination with a variety of marine attractions that has collected multiple hospitality and travel awards since its debut.
Agent@Home Travel Summits, the first of their kind, provide a forum where home-based travel agents, the readers of Agent@Home magazine, can network, learn how to improve their business, and discover more about travel industry products and services. Twin summits are scheduled in Long Beach, California, Sept. 15-18, and Atlantic City, New Jersey, Sept. 29-Oct. 2.
The summits bring Agent@Home, the only magazine that caters to home-based travel professionals and entrepreneurs, to life by offering extensive educational programming covering the top issues facing the travel agency trade today. Agent@Home is a sister publication to TravelPulse.com.
