Now Travelers Can Tour Bermuda by Twizy
Hotel & Resort Patrick Clarke June 22, 2017

There's a new eco-friendly way to see more of Bermuda in less time.
The Hamilton Princess & Beach Club recently became the first property on the island to make Renault Twizy vehicles available to guests.
The four-star hotel and beach club announced it now offers a fleet of more than two dozen of the compact electric buggies that guests can rent out on a first come, first served basis.
The new amenity is special in that visitors typically aren't able to rent cars in Bermuda. But the Twizy allows up to two guests to tour the island conveniently and safely since it comes equipped with seatbelts and airbags.
The vehicle can cover as much as 50 miles on a single charge and that range means that riders will be able to explore some of Bermuda's top attractions, including the Historic Town of St. George and the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse in Southampton Parish.
Local business owners are being encouraged to install charging points around the island in the near future so guests can recharge on the go and get more out of their rental.

Guests must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license to rent a Twizy. The rental fee is $100.80 per day, and drivers can reserve their Twizy through the Hamilton Princess' online booking portal.
If the Twizy is a hit at the Hamilton Princess, it's likely to catch on at other properties on the island.
