EarthCheck, the global tourism advisory firm, has recognized 15 hotels in the Palladium Hotel Group portfolio for their commitment to sustainability. The efforts of these hotels, spread across five destinations and five properties, led to a combined savings of more than $10 million.
“The EarthCheck Certified technology is unlike anything else used in the industry—each consecutive year of our benchmarking and auditing journey revealed successes and areas for improvement—which we were then able to implement the following year,” said Rebeca Garcia, Quality, Sustainability and Social Responsibility Director for Palladium Hotels Group in a recent release. “The results speak for themselves—we are proud of our EarthCheck Gold status—and even prouder of our ongoing commitment to continued benchmarking and improvement through the program.”
