Renaissance Westchester Completes $13 Million Renovation

The Renaissance Westchester Hotel in White Plains, N.Y., completed a $13 million following a six-month renovation. The lobby and guestrooms received facelifts, and a new restaurant and ballroom were added.
The lobby now features semi-private nooks, tables, television and Wi-Fi. The front desk has been redesigned with sleek lighting, detailed woodwork and more flexible space.
The property debuted Hive Living Room + Bar, featuring American cuisine with locally sourced ingredients. It features warm woods and diffused lighting.
The hotel’s 347 guest rooms and six suites have been completely reinvented with serene color palates designed to bring the outdoors inside. Rooms feature Wi-Fi, ample desk areas, and 42-inch flat-panel televisions. New bathrooms boast white tile, dark woods and soft lighting.
The 2,080 square-foot Harrison Ballroom and 1,240 square-feet Hudson Room were added. The Harrison Ballroom can host up to 180 guests banquet style and the Hudson room can accommodate up to 90 guests.
