A fire broke out Monday night at the private resort Princess Cays, which is owned by Princess Cruises and located on the island of Eleuthera, Bahamas.
According to the Bahamas Press, the fire on the island started around 11 p.m. Monday night and engulfed several buildings on the south side of the island before local firefighters extinguished the blaze in about an hour.
Footage shared on social media shows a massive fire near the resort area as the camera operator walks through the sand next to picturesque palm trees.

Princess Cays hosts around five Princess and Carnival Cruise Line ships a week, but there were no passengers at the resort at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
The Carnival Pride is scheduled to arrive in Princess Cays Wednesday, but officials are still assessing the damage to determine if the ship will have to skip the resort in its seven-day Bahamas cruise from Baltimore.
