Iran and Iraq are considering reciprocal action on American travelers as a result of Trump’s travel ban.
"The US decision to restrict travel for Muslims to the US, even if for a temporary period of three months, is an obvious insult to the Islamic world and in particular to the great nation of Iran," Iran’s Foreign Affairs Ministry said in a statement to CNN. "Despite the claims of combating terrorism and keeping American people safe, it will be recorded in history as a big gift to extremists and their supporters."

The statement went on to describe the actions Iran plans to take, saying the Iran “will take proportionate legal, consular and political action and ... will take reciprocal measures in order to safeguard the rights of its citizens until the time of the removal of the insulting restrictions of the government of the United States against Iranian nationals,” reports CNN.
Iraq is also planning reciprocal action.
According to a report in the Independent, Iraq’s parliament “asked the Baghdad government to ‘reciprocate’ Donald Trump’s ‘Muslim ban’ with travel restrictions aimed at American citizens,” writes Bethan McKernan.
“We ask the Iraqi government to reciprocate to the decision taken by the U.S administration,“ the foreign affairs committee said in a statement to the Independent on Sunday.
