Ellen Bettridge, CEO and president of river cruise line Uniworld Boutique River Cruises, today announces the promotion of Adena Wilson to Vice President National Accounts. In this position, Wilson becomes solely responsible for national account sales and relationships for Uniworld.

According to Bettridge, Wilson is the right person to take on the newly created national role. “Uniworld is a unique brand among luxury travel experiences and river cruise lines in particular. Having a single, supremely skilled executive directing our national account sales is good for Uniworld and we are confident, even better for our travel advisor partners,” said Bettridge. “A consummate and award-winning professional, we are thrilled to welcome Adena to her new role as demand for Uniworld continues grows.”

A sixteen year veteran in the luxury cruise space, prior to becoming Vice President National Accounts, Adena was Director, National Accounts, Western USA for The Velvet Collection, the division brought together to sell the luxury and premium brands of The Travel Corporation (TTC).

“Uniworld is still very much a proud member of TTC, financially solvent and debt-free, but The Velvet Collection, which was created in response to the pandemic, is no longer necessary,” said Bettridge. “Travel is back and stronger than ever, and we are joining the TTC family of brands in reverting to sales professionals that are, once again, expert in their subject.”
