Lisa Bauer, the former Royal Caribbean International executive who left the cruise line in September, was named chief operating officer of International Cruise & Excursions Inc. (ICE), a travel company based in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Bauer will assume her new role on Jan. 20.

Bauer has more than 20 years of experience in the travel industry, including the past 11 years with Royal Caribbean, where she most recently served as executive vice president of global sales and marketing.
She also served as senior vice president-hotel operations and senior vice president of sales. Prior to joining Royal Caribbean, Bauer held senior positions in sales, marketing and operations with Midwest Express Airlines, Legend Airlines and Our Lucaya Beach and Golf Resort.
ICE provides cruise, travel and lifestyle programs, as well as membership reward and loyalty based programs and incentives. ICE fulfills private branded cruise and vacation programs for major corporate brands.
