Seminole Gaming Names Dreitzer COO

Howard Dreitzer, who led the introduction of table games at three Seminole Casinos in Florida, has been named chief operating officer for Seminole Gaming. In his new position, Dreitzer assumes overall responsibility for operations management of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos in Hollywood and Tampa, Fla., as well as the Seminole Casinos in Coconut Creek, Hollywood, on the Immokalee Reservation near Naples, on the Brighton Reservation northwest of Lake Okeechobee and on the Big Cypress Reservation south of Lake Okeechobee. Dreitzer had been senior vice president of table games for Seminole Gaming, a position he had held since March 2008. He directed the 2008 introduction of blackjack, baccarat and other table games with the approval of the U.S. Department of the Interior, which validated the gaming compact signed by the Seminole Tribe and the State of Florida in 2007.
