Abercrombie & Kent combined a selection of Africa's most compelling places into a single tour for jet setters. Scheduled for Feb. 20 to March 10, 2015, Africa: Across the Continent by Private Jet will cover seven countries in 19 days traveling on a chartered Boeing 737 configured to carry 40 passengers in business class style seats.
The trip combines a wide range of African experiences, including three nights in Uganda to track the rare mountain gorillas; three nights experiencing the Great Migration on the Serengeti in Tanzania; three nights in Zambia with a helicopter ride over Victoria Falls; three nights in a safari camp along the Chobe River in Botswana; two nights among 700-foot sand dunes of Namibia; and a grand finale in Cape Town, South Africa.
Accommodations, says A&K, are "always the best available, thoughtfully selected to reflect the country's spirit and style, and offering gracious hospitality along with inspiring views," with stays at Sanctuary Sussi and Chuma in Zambia, with tree house villas; A&K's mobile tented camp in the Serengeti and the Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero in Botswana.
