A&K Offering New Inspiring Expeditions
Tour Operator Abercrombie & Kent David Cogswell November 19, 2015

As his recently published memoir spells out clearly, Geoffrey Kent, founder of Abercrombie & Kent, has had an amazing life so far, from playing polo with Britain’s Prince Charles in his youth to a life of nearly endless exploration of the earth. Now the founder of A&K is unveiling a new series of specially planned trips designed to bring Kent’s lifetime of rich travel experiences into play.
A&K’s new series of Inspiring Expeditions by Geoffrey Kent is debuting Nov. 13-21, 2016, with a trip called Treasures of Palau.
The basic idea underlying the Inspiring Journeys series is “to take intimate groups of intrepid travelers for adventures in the most unexplored areas in the world, remote places only accessible by private jet, led by the best professional explorers.”
The nine-day Palau trip is designed “to recreate Jacques Cousteau’s famous expedition to Palau, and dive surrounded by millions of jellyfish that do not sting,” says Kent.
Kent will, of course, be on the trip, which will include diving into what some consider to be one of the best diving locations in the world, including areas made famous by Cousteau and the site of a sunken Japanese World War II ship.
