G Adventures' Travvy win at Gotham Hall in New York City put an extra pep in the company's step.
“Hearing G Adventures receive the top award for Best Escorted Tour Operator, Adventure and Expedition during the Travvys last month was a great thrill for me and my whole team,” said U.S. managing director Ben Perlo. “It felt like a validation of the work we have done over the past seven years to build this brand’s visibility and operations in the United States, to lead with service and purpose, and to empower our agent partners to successfully sell our products. Knowing this recognition came, in part, from those partners–our passionate Agents of Change–made winning all the more sweet and meaningful. We’re charged up and ready to make 2018 our best year yet.”
In 2018, G Adventures will continue to advocate for inspiring travel agents with its Ambassadors of Change program this year.
The program, which began in late 2016, builds on the company’s commitment to social entrepreneurship, sustainability and responsible tourism for local and global benefit. It is designed to educate, inspire and empower purpose-driven travel agents. The company recently announced its 2018 ambassadors.
