Isramworld Introduces New India Tours

Isramworld’s Orient Flexi-Pax division published its new 2014 brochure of its tours to India with three new programs: a culinary tour, a Jewish heritage tour and a tour of southern India by private car.
The culinary tour focuses on the foods of three major cities, Delhi, Agra and Jaipur with visits to restaurants, spice markets and neighborhoods known for various kinds of food.
The itinerary includes a morning visit to street markets stalls in Delhi; a tour of Okhla Saabzi Mandi vegetable market; a home cooking demonstration with an Indian family; curry tastings; visits to dessert specialty shops in Delhi; a tasting at Bhukara restaurant; and culinary tours through colonial Lucknow.
The tour also includes sightseeing of major architectural monuments, such as the Taj Mahal and the Amber Fort.
The Jewish Heritage Tour follows Jewish history through India with visits to synagogues and Jewish villages through major Indian cities, such as Mumbai (Bombay), Cochin, Kolkata (Calcutta) and Delhi.
South Indian Dream by Private Car visits the lesser traveled parts of India, including visits to Chennai (Madras), Puducherry (Pondicherry). Cauvery, Madurai, Cochin, Ooty and Mysorel.
