“We’d like to extend a thank you to Mark Murphy and travAlliancemedia for hosting a fantastic event,” said Richard Launder, president of TTC USA. “We are grateful and humbled by the recognition received at the Travvy Awards and certainly appreciate the confidence from our agent partners in voting for our brands.”
Launder noted travel agents will continue to be front and center for the Travel Corporation in the coming year.
“We will continue to work hard to maintain [travel agents’] confidence, as 90 percent of our sales come through them, and our travel agent relationships are, and always will be, our top priority,” he said.
The Travel Corporation will also continue to innovate and streamline services for its advisors this year.
“We look forward to further supporting agents in 2018 with initiatives such as the new five-part Agent Academy e-learning course and MTP, the online portal that will provide both agents and guests with a single go-to place for their travel plans, preferences and contact details,” said Launder.
The company has some exciting new products ahead as well. In particular, its new brand, U by Uniworld brings river cruising to the millennial generation with two river cruise ships sailing Europe beginning this spring.
