For 38-year old Karma Hill, a long love for travel and an interest in interpersonal relationships birthed a passion transported in her Pennsylvania-based Good Karma Travels website, which is tailored to providing romance and luxury vacations in specific destinations within Africa, Europe, Central America and Asia.
Although new to the industry, you would think she has had a lifelong career as a travel professional based on her chic website and her mission to focus on pleasing the mind, body and soul as a healthy way for her clients to maintain profound relationships with their partners.
As he is so proud of saying, "Everyone benefits when good karma travels."
However, she does contribute her years working in the health industry as a driving force in setting her customers on their way to vacation bliss.
“After working with mental health specialties I am able to communicate well and listen closely to what my clients’ needs are,” said Hill.
And by paying full attention she is able to listen out for special clues that allow her to work her magic over their vacation experiences, designing them to be as personable and meaningful as possible.
This special gift that Hill possesses comes in the form of three options for her travelers to choose from — all offering something unique that conveys the traveler’s wants, needs, and most importantly- their price range.
Hill does admit that she never goes below a three-star hotel stating, “I would not pick something I would not want for myself.”
Witnessing the bond between a mother and child while vacationing with her husband in Costa Rica solidified her desire to become an agent and spawned a mission to add value to vacationers’ travels by combining monumental experiences with an unforgettable destination.
“To me these memories are worth more than a photo or a piece of jewelry.”
In creating these memories, Hill acknowledges that her clients need to know that she has their backs and is always available whether through phone or email to ensure they are getting their money’s worth of superb service.
When the force of Mother Nature becoming a challenging feat, resulting in a client who was stuck in the snow, Hill was there to take care the fine details to make sure the traveler’s experience stress-free.
“The fact that I worked with people all my life, I know what travel can do for the soul. We work hard and deserve experiences to last a lifetime, that’s what vacation means to me.”
