The American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) announced Tuesday that CNN host Jake Tapper will participate in ASTA Global Convention 2018.

Tapper will host a one-hour keynote speech and audience Q&A session that will take place on August 23 at the Washington Hilton, the annual home of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

The ASTA added Tapper as the paths of travel and politics continue to cross, with the industry veteran boasting a resume that includes being CNN’s Chief Washington Correspondent, anchor of The Lead with Jake Tapper and host of State of the Union.

Tapper will speak to the ASTA travel advisor community about current affairs, the importance of providing important information to clients and his new book, The Hellfire Club. Other speakers include Samantha Brown, Gloria Bohan, Alison Taylor, Kristin Karst and more.
