Amadeus Exec Wins Prestigious Stevie Award

A key player at one of the leading tech players in the travel industry has won a prestigious award.
Carolyn Cauceglia, Amadeus vice president of strategic sales and account management for North America has won the Bronze Award in the Business Services Award category as part of the 2013 Stevie Awards For Women in Business.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world's premier awards for women executives, entrepreneurs and the organizations they run. The winners were announced at an awards ceremony in New York in November.
“It is an honor and privilege to be selected among such an impressive group of Stevie Award winners,” said Cauceglia. “In my role at Amadeus and as a devoted member of my community and industry, I am proud of all that I have been able to accomplish both professionally and personally. I look forward to continuing to make a difference in both the travel industry and in organizations I am passionate about.”
In addition to her professional success and role as an industry leader over her 25-year travel industry career, the award also recognizes Cauceglia’s efforts to give back.
She currently serves on the board of directors of Tourism Cares, an organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the travel experience for future generations. She is also a member of the board of trustees for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, southern Florida chapter.
