Travel Impressions launched a promotion under an exclusive partnership with American Airlines to promote travel to Mexico and the Caribbean.

Under the terms of the promotion, the airline is offering a 25 percent discount on business class fares from all U.S. and Canadian gateways on flights to the Caribbean or Mexico that are booked July 29-Aug. 28 for travel any time. There are no blackout dates.

To qualify for the reduced rate, premium I class seats must be purchased in a package that includes a stay at one of Travel Impressions’ selection of more than 600 resorts or 1,000 villas in the Caribbean and Mexico region.

Travel Impressions is paying 10 percent commission on the business class air as well as its regular commission on the land component.

Seating in premium class on American Airlines brings with it special upgraded amenities, including up to three bags up to 50 pounds in weight checked free; large seats with extra legroom; complimentary beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic; an entrée, nuts and cookies; and complimentary headsets and in-flight entertainment.

Travel agents can also earn 25 percent commission for the sale of Travel Impressions’ Cancel for Any Reason waiver purchased July 29-Sept. 30.
