A Rescue at Sea with Seabourn

Last month, something magical took place near Cairns.
A Seabourn expedition team and guests were out on a tour when they saw a distressed dog in a swampy area.
The Seabourn blogger shared this miraculous story on the Ventures by Seabourn Zodiac excursion:
“The dog was struggling to stay out of the water and was standing on roots as the tide was rising. Between hypothermia and the local crocodiles, the prospects for survival were bleak. After getting approval from the guests on the tour, the expedition team made an effort to pick the dog up, and they succeeded in getting it inside the Zodiac.
"On the way back, the group happened to pass by an anchored sailboat which had another very similar dog onboard and when the two recognized each other they started barking and wagging their tails in excitement. The group approached the boat and realized that they had the same collar, so they definitely belonged together!”
The expedition team was able to save the day and the rescue dog was reunited with its family on their sailboat.
How amazing is that?
You never know what will happen out at sea.
