Experiencias Xcaret's New Xavage Park Coming in December

Visitors to Cancun, Mexico will soon have another theme park to get their adrenaline pumping.
Experiencias Xcaret has confirmed its new Xavage park will open December 10, 2018.
Kayaking, waterslides, monster trucks, speeding jet boats and whitewater rafting are just some of the exciting land and sea adventures thrill-seekers can look forward to at the $30 million attraction.
The new park will be equipped with at least a half-dozen 600-horsepower turbines for water power. Developed in South Korea, the systems are similar to ones used at amusement parks in Charlotte, North Carolina and New Zealand, the park's director of operations, Marco Hernandez Diaz, told Riviera Maya News.
Conveniently located just five minutes from Cancun International Airport, Xavage will allow guests the freedom to choose their level of adrenaline, which ranges from soft to ultimate.
Visitors can start off by paddling a kayak and conquering a hanging rope course before moving on to more challenging activities, working their way up from soft to hard to extreme and, eventually, ultimate.
Basic adult packages will start around $55, with the ultimate package costing about $133. Meanwhile, children package prices will range from $47 to $67.
Travelers won't have to wait much longer for another park either as Experiencias Xcaret is already planning to open Xibalba—which translates to "underworld" in Mayan—near Valladolid, Yucatan by the summer of 2020.
