Innovation is on the Rise

During the first week of 2018, more than 100 members of the AmaWaterways family gathered together in Amsterdam for their first Global Sales and Operations Summit.
This was a week-long program which shared product updates, reviewed sales results and provided an overview of the marketing and strategic growth plans for the upcoming two years. The meeting was key in fueling the innovation and engagement that keeps the company moving forward.
The teams were able to visit AmaLea to see her updates in the shipyard, see mockup staterooms for AmaMagna who is coming in 2019, try new excursions and tour new partner hotels. There were also stretching and core strengthening classes with Selina, the company’s Sports Scientist, every morning to start the day.
Engagements, birthdays and sales successes were recognized throughout the week. Mixing fun and productivity made for a successful event, and everyone is now busy focusing on their new projects and implementing what they've learned into their work.

The reason AmaWaterways provides such extraordinary vacations is because each department has experts in what they do, and they work together to provide the best experiences for the guests.
Kristin Karst, Vice President and Co-Owner, is proud of the entire AmaWaterways family, and after the successful summit this year, planning is already in the works for next year’s event.
