Last month, the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams went head to head in the most watched game of the season, the Super Bowl. Sports fans gather from all over to watch this game each year, but several people also set aside this time to enjoy the commercials.

Cruise Planners took note that during the big game last month, Norwegian Cruise Line ran a 30-second advertisement. The commercial highlighted all the fun things to do onboard and in destination such as drive a race car, enjoy waterslides, kayak and surf.
What does this mean for the travel industry? Considering Norwegian Cruise Line hasn’t run an ad in the Super Bowl in 25 years, it means business is thriving. Norwegian is committed to supporting travel agents by running campaigns like their current Free at Sea one shown in the commercial.
