Regent Seven Seas Guests Reveal Favorite Summer Destinations

Regent Seven Seas Cruises turned to guests to comment on their best summer memories while cruising the Mediterranean — and they were inundated with submissions.
Some spoke of Dubrovnik’s walled majesty, others, the architecture of Rome, but according to Regent Seven Seas, two locales were “clear favorites”: Venice and Santorini.
Venice was lauded for its beauty, romance, nice natives, “palpable” history and, of course, the iconic gondolas. Guests simply fell in love with Santorini, commenting, “what an amazing place.”

In light of guest feedback, Regent Seven Seas is highlighting some of its free unlimited shore excursions offered on Mediterranean voyages, something definitely of interest to those under the spell of Venice and Santorini. In Venice, guests can cruise the Grand Canal, view the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, visit the legendary Murano glass factory, glide through small canals on a gondola and much more.
In Santorini, guests can tour an active volcano and hot springs, then visit a local winery serving the isle’s most famous vintages. Immersion in ancient museums and sites are also other options.
