Wednesday's incident comes nearly six months after an 85-year-old man died aboard a U.K.-bound Turkmenistan Airlines after falling ill from an asthma attack. The flight made an emergency landing in Russia before continuing on to its final destination with the man's body on the plane.
In January, a 62-year-old man under medical supervision died during a Kuwait Airways flight to New York City.
